Synopsis: Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Southern Mindanao. Ridge of a High Pressure Area (HPA) affecting Luzon and Visayas.

SURFACE TROUGH will bring partly to mostly cloudy conditions with light scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over WESTERN SECTIONS OF MINDANAO.

 

NO ACTIVE TROPICAL CYCLONE

Tropical Cyclone Formation over the Western Pacific Ocean, the Philippine Sea, and the South China Sea is not expected through Saturday, June 17, 2017.

 

Forecast: Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms will be experienced over the regions of Zamboanga Peninsula, ARMM, and SOCCSKSARGEN. Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Light to moderate winds blowing from the south to southwest will prevail over Luzon and from the southeast to south over the rest of the country. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate.
